Contracts
Published in Audio Cassette by West Wadsworth (01 October, 2002)
Average review score:

Review of WhaleyThe tapes are very helpful if you have done the basic reading. These tapes are an excellent review tool. They lay out the bare structure of contracts where all the major issues are organized by topic. Obviously no one can cover everthing in detail on only four tapes, but if you are already somewhat familiar with the issues - these tapes by Whaley are great. I recommend them for reviewing for finals or as an everyday brushup.

Counseling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents: Theory and Practice for School and Clinical Settings
Published in Hardcover by John Wiley & Sons (15 January, 1999)
Average review score:

Cutting edge information for counseling children.Counseling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents, Third Edition has been a valuable addition to my personal llibrary. As a graduate student, I am constantly in search of state-of-the-art resources that I feel will enhance my skills once I begin to practice. Every grad. student/novice counselor needs to be aware of the major schools of thought as theory drives practice. This book offers the reader the chance to become familiar with the latest thinking and practice using the seven major approaches to counseling and psychotherapeutic interventions with children and adolescents.
I have used this book many times over in writing research reports and it has served me well. This text is chock-full of useful information; everything from multicultural counseling to ethical issues. I would have liked to see more written on the areas of schizophrenia, and suicide.
Although a bit pricey, this book is valuable as a supplemental or main text for the student, and reference for the novice therapist.

The Court Years, 1939 to 1975
Published in Hardcover by Random House (September, 1980)
Average review score:

A superb literary work...In this example of extroardinary autobiographical writing, William O. Douglas has deftly explained his years as a Supreme Court Justice. Using simple but illustrious wording, he explains his Court experience in layman's terms, while weaving into the story descriptions of his own personal life. I loved this book.

Cowboy in My Pocket
Published in Digital by Hard Shell Word Factory ()
Average review score:

Parody or Not? Your ChoiceEither way you'll be delighted with this romantic comedy from Kate Douglas. This book traipses lightly through all the romance novel cliches, from amnesiac-bride to cowboy-hero-desperate-to-save-the-family-ranch, yet manages to satisfy both the hard core romance reader and pundits alike. Sexy, bouncy and maybe even a little rowdy, COWBOY is an entertaining, quick read you won't want to miss. If there is a sequel in the works, I'll be the first to buy it.

A Cowman's Wife (Degolyer Library Cowboy and Ranch Life, No 2)
Published in Paperback by Texas State Historical Assn (May, 1993)
Average review score:

One Woman's AdventureA Cowman's Wife is a fasinating account of one woman's adventure in south-western Arizona. Mary Kidder Rak captured this chapter of her life in very personal and humurous terms as well as giving us a glimpse into ranch life in the early 1900's. If you're looking for a book that gives you an up close and personal view of the life of an adventurous woman or of life in the American SW., this is a must read! PS: Check your maps for the ranch Mary and her husband lived on, it's still a landmark!

The Crime Writer's Handbook
Published in Paperback by Allison & Busby (April, 1998)
Average review score:

How to Kill Off AnybodyMust have book for any writer of fictional crime. I bought this to help me understand the five deaths of my True Crime book victims--amazing! Great resource, easy to read and makes perfect sense.
This book not only explains the methods and the effects, but attempts to give every way of death a real life example.
If you are interested, this book also delves into forensic science information and other methods of detection.
I reccommend this book also to detectives in training.
